Macon-Bibb County government offices will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday, November 24 and 25. Emergency services will be maintained both days.
Collection of solid waste, recycling, and yard waste pickup will be delayed a day: Thursday pickups will be on Friday, and Friday pickups will be on Saturday. The landfill will be closed Thursday and Friday, but will be open Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
