The MaconBibbTV team spotlights local heroes among heroes for the annual Shield Club banquet. Founded by Macon philanthropist Peyton Anderson 46 years ago, the Shield Club provides financial assistance to the families of law enforcement officers and fire fighters killed or injured in the line of duty, as well as academic scholarships to first responders, their spouses and children.
