Hillcrest Park is a highly-utilized corner park, but it needed a little TLC. Thanks to $175,000 in blight funds, it’s coming back to life! County officials and neighbors gathered under the new pavilion in October to celebrate the improvements, including new basketball courts, a new playground, new fencing, and other aesthetic upgrades. Tackling blight is a major part of our award-winning Strategic Plan aimed at improving quality of life for everyone in Macon-Bibb County.
