Henry Burns Park, at the corner of Ingleside and Ridge avenues, is getting an $709,250 upgrade. The renovations are made possible by $43,000 in voter-approved SPLOST money, and blight funds from three of our commissioners. The park will feature an inclusive playground where children of different abilities will be able to play side by side, more accessibility for everyone, better parking areas, new lighting, landscaping, attractive signage, and improved irrigation and stormwater drainage.
