Macon-Bibb County’s GCAPS (Georgia Civic Awareness Program for Students) team traveled to Georgia’s Capitol, and the city of Suwanee, in Gwinnett County, to learn more about how the legislature, and local governments work. Many of the students say these trips are laying the groundwork for their future careers in government.
