In February, more than 130 Macon-Bibb Firefighters officially assumed a new rank. That includes a chief, captains, lieutenants, and sergeants. A lot of hard work finally paid off for these men and women who work tirelessly to keep Macon-Bibb County safe. Many of the people promoted bring a little extra to their role, to go above and beyond for our citizens.
