The Greater Macon-Bibb County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Macon program has been training and equipping community leaders for more than 38 years. Each class finds a way to improve our community. For the class of 2017, it was a wellness project. The group coordinated a plan for a free fitness circuit outside along the trails at Amerson River Park. The team is finalizing their funding efforts, and then they’ll work with Macon-Bibb County and Greenfield Outdoor Fitness to acquire and install the machines within the next few months.
