Trae McCombs, Editor, Videographer, Web Master, Broadcast Engineer

Trae McCombs, MaconBibbTV Manager is in his 6th year of employment with Macon-Bibb County.  With more than 15 years of experience in web design, online community management and multimedia production, Trae founded projects such as Linux.com, Sourceforge.net and Themes.org.

Trae attended Mercer University and Macon State College and served our country in the U.S. Army during the Persian Gulf War, spending more than seven months in Iraq and Saudi Arabia.  He and his wife Mary have been married 20 years and are the proud parents of two great daughters, ages 13 and 10.

An avid rock climber, musician, and self-proclaimed computer geek, the big guy has completed an Iron Man competition and is in training for another.  Go Trae go!!

Justin Crum: Webmaster, Graphic Designer, Videographer and Photographer

Justin Crum, affectionately known as “Cookie” (Crum) by the MBTV Team, is our 23 year-old web master and photographer extraordinaire.  The native New Yorker, who hails from Queens, is a big fan of Middle Georgia, and resides in Warner Robins where he graduated from Warner Robins High School.

Although his technology skills are legendary in Macon-Bibb government circles, Justin’s personal claim to fame is City of Macon Dance Champion.

Saying “I’m still 23,” Justin enjoys sleeping and playing video games in his spare time.  His work mom, Jami, is trying to get him to eat healthier plying him with apples, oranges and other fresh fruit she brings daily from home.

Kevin Barrere: Editor, Videographer, and Photographer

Prior to joining the new MaconBibbTV team Kevin Barrere served the former Bibb County government as the Public Affairs Officer (PAO).

He returned home to Central Georgia in 2009 after working in television production in Los Angeles for 11 years.  His credits include work for Disney, Fox, Paramount, A & E Television, TNT and the Discovery Channel, among others.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. in Mass Communications, Kevin is a versatile addition to MaconBibbTV.

Kevin has also worked with Volunteer Macon, the Mentor’s Project and other local non-profit groups, and continues to give back to the community in numerous ways.

A 2013 graduate of Leadership Macon, Kevin serves on the board of the Central Georgia Red Cross.   He also serves as the Program Manager of GCAPS, Georgia Civic Awareness Program for Students.

A big fan and supporter of Downtown Macon, in his spare time Kevin is an avid soccer player and enjoys spending time with friends and his two adopted dogs.

Jami Gaudet: MBTV Coordinator, Host, Writer, Producer, Videographer, Photographer

With nearly 20 years of experience in video production, Jami Gaudet was tapped to lead the MBTV multimedia team which is responsible for Macon-Bibb’s television stations, Channel 14 and Digital 94-1, and the website maconbibb.us.

A former radio and TV news anchor and reporter, Jami served as the first civilian Public Information Officer (PIO) for the Macon Police Department and the first Public Relations Director for the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.

Jami earned a B.A. in English from Tulane University, Magna Cum Laude, and holds a Masters degree in College Administration from the University of Miami where she graduated with honors.

Her professional adventures include White House press conferences, flying with the U.S. Air Force J-Stars at Robins, and interviewing the biggest names in politics, international affairs, sports, entertainment and academia.

A graduate of Leadership Macon and Leadership Georgia, Jami is married to Dr. Jim Gaudet a local chiropractor.  In 2011, they retired the Gaudet All-Star Baseball Camp, which they founded and directed, hosting over 13,000 children in 25 years, free of charge.

Jami and Jim have two adult children and a son-in-law, as well as two rescue dogs from Macon-Bibb Animal Welfare.
